Our Switcher of the month in June 2018 is The Chain Effect, a Beirut-based cycling mobility NGO which promotes and facilitates cycling as a sustainable means of transport in Beirut through street art, community projects, public interventions and mass cycling events. The bike-unfriendly reputation of Lebanon is changing thanks to the effort of its growing pro-cycling graffiti artists.
Our Switcher of the month in May 2018 is the Jerusalem Urban Wildlife Initiative, managing Gazelle Valley Park and the Jerusalem Bird Observatory (JBO). These two sites are shifting the relationship between people and nature. The national initiative is a partnership lead by the Ministry of the Environment, the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel (SPNI), more than 45 municipalities, and the Beracha Foundation.
Our Switcher of the month in April 2018 is the Lebanon Mountain Trail Association, The (LMT) is the first long-distance hiking trail in Lebanon. The LMT showcases the natural beauty and cultural wealth of Lebanon's mountains and demonstrates the determination of the people of Lebanon to conserve this unique heritage. The trail brings communities closer together and expands economic opportunities in rural areas through environmentally- and socially-responsible tourism

At Google Campus Tel Aviv, more than 100 stakeholders gathered on December 6th for the SwitchMed Synergy Workshop devoted to “Green Entrepreneurship for a Circular Economy in Israel”. The event provided a platform for relevant stakeholders to exchange and identify recommendations on how to promote circular economy by further empowering green entrepreneurs, grassroots initiatives and the organizations that support them
A synergy workshop will be organised in the context of the SwitchMed Programme on December 6th at the Google campus in Tel Aviv. The workshop will bring together key stakeholders working to promote green entrepreneurship, eco-innovation in civil society initiatives and the transition to more sustainable modes of consumption and production in Israel.
