SwitchMed is exchanging its best practices at the 7th EcoMedaGreen Summit

The Eco MedaGreen Summit aims to merge the interests of the Mediterranean private sector with environmental values, by creating greater awareness and finding synergies between the two. On November 23rd 2017, SwitchMed, among others key experts and prime regional players will convene to exchange knowledge at the Panel "Waste Management and Recycling in the Realm of Circular Economy" during the Mediterranean Cities Economic Forum.

The Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders is today an iconic economic conference dedicated to promoting the Mediterranean, its key economic sectors and cultural values on a global level. Since its debut in 2005, the MedaWeek Barcelona has served as a reference point for voicing the interests of the private sector in the socioeconomic development of the region.

This year, its 11th edition, will take place from 22 to 24 November at the Casa Llotja de Mar, in Barcelona (Spain).

During this event, on Thursday, 23 November 2017 at Cònsols Room, The Eco MedaGreen Summit will convene four forums and explore the region’s most profitable and pronounced environmental sectors, including Renewable Energy, Water Industry and Technology and Green Cities.

At the Mediterranean Cities Economic Forum, Daniel Hires, Project Manager at SCP/RAC, will be speaking on how the community of Switchers developped under the EU-funded SwitchMed Programme is contributiong to sustainable "Waste Management and Recycling in the Realm of Circular Economy" around the mediterranean.
