The Palestinian Sustainable Consumption and Production National Action Plan was launched officially last year by H.E the Prime Minister of Palestine Dr Rami Hamdallah. The action plan draws a roadmap for mainstreaming SCP in three relevant sectors: Tourism; Housing and Construction; and finally Agriculture and Food;
In this context, the Environment Quality Authority with the collaboration of SwitchMed is organizing an Environmental Exhibition to promote the concept of Sustainable Consumption and Production.
During this exhibition, SwitchMed National Policy Coordinator at the Economy division of UN Environment, Luc Reuter, will be introducing the Programme and its achievements promoting sustainable consumption and production in the Mediterranean.
The environmental exhibition is organized in the context of the EU-funded SwitchMed Program, and implemented through United Nations Environment. It will be held under the patronage of Environmental Quality Authority chairman Eng. Adal Attirah, and Ibrahim Romadan, Jenin Governor. For more information check out the agenda.
