At SwitchMed we strongly believe that networking events between grassroots initiatives would leverage eco-innovation, creativity, and strengthen exchange and sharing of ideas and lesson learned.

For this purpose, whithin the scope of SwitchMed civil society initiative programme, the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature and Wild Jordan organized in October 12th 2017 a networking event bringing together all Jordanian social and eco-innovative organizations who have participated in the SwitchMed training programme a few months ago. This reconnecting event was a unique opportunity for them to meet again and discuss challenges and opportunities grassroots and social and eco-innovation initiatives are encountering. It was also a chance to identify concrete measures and instruments to promote green entrepreneurship and initiatives. The event was hled in the premises of Wild Jordan center and hosted by our local partner Laila Malallah accompanied by SwitchMed local trainers Mervat Batarseh, and Anwar Halah.

In this context, the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature and participants have decided to do an immediate action: the launch of an official networking group on Facebook called SOCIAL ECO-INNOVATION INITIATIVES JORDAN. Join them by clicking at the title.

"The event was successful, in fact Innitiative representatives reconnected and updated us and each other with the status of their initiatives"pointed Majdi Aqili, founder of Tuyur el badia.
